Dastan Eldesov is a philologist, historian, and ethnographer. He graduated from the Almaty Art College and the Faculty of Philology at Kazakh State University. His work has been published in various outlets, including journals such as Prostor, Ait, Dostyq-Druzhba, Mängi El, and Mysl', as well as in newspapers like Strana i Mir, Ana Tili, Tasjargan, Liter, Svoboda Slova, Tribuna, Yuridicheskaia Gazeta, and Qazaq Üni.
