Stephen Pow is a Canadian medieval historian and Research Associate at the University of Calgary. His research focuses on the Mongol Empire, the Kipchaks and the Golden Horde, the Mongol conquest of Eurasia, and Mongol-European relations in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. He is the author of numerous publications on the military, political, and environmental history of the Mongol Empire, including the book Conquest and Withdrawal: The Mongol Army in Hungary (1241–1242).
