A Deep Bowl for Koumiss
A zereñ is a vessel with thick and straight sides and a wide bottom. It is made of very hard wood because the koumiss (qymyz) is whipped in it before serving, and wood chips should not get into the drink. The zereñ is usually accompanied by a ladle and cups for everyone at the table.
